The Methow Valley Fly Fishers gather several times a year to socialize and share stories about our fly fishing adventures. We have monthly meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of each month with speakers who present on a range of topics from adventure travel to specific fly fishing techniques. We also have a Spring BBQ that coincides with our annual fund raising auction, and a Fall BBQ that is purely a social event. In February we screen the IF4 International Fly Fishing Film Festival in the ballroom at Sun Mountain Resort.

The Methow Valley Fly Fishers coordinate member outings to local lakes in the Methow and Okanogan Valleys several times a year. These trips sometimes include a work party cleaning up a launch facility or camping area prior to starting to fish. Members of all skill levels are encouraged to participate and members new to the sport often benefit from the advice of some of the more seasoned anglers.

We also try and facilitate other impromptu gatherings such as fly tying round tables, fly swaps, and spur of the moment member meet ups on local lakes.
